A family session on holiday isn't about combing the kids' hair and sitting them still. It's about capturing who you really are right now: the tickles, the runs across the sand, the moment you all finally look at once.
Ibiza helps a lot. Beyond its nightlife fame, the island has clear-water coves, a golden-stone old town and sunsets that put anyone in a good mood. The kids have room to dash around and the grown-ups a postcard backdrop without any effort.
You come to have a good time; I move around without directing too much, so the photos tell this summer exactly as it was.
Where and how the shoot works with kids
For families I pick comfortable, open spots. Las Salinas and Cala Comte have soft sand, shallow water and plenty of room for the little ones to play without stress. If you prefer a backdrop with history, the lanes of Dalt Vila offer shade, steps and corners kids love to explore.
I work without impossible poses. I suggest small games —jumps, chasing the waves, counting to three and blowing sand— and shoot in the middle of the chaos. The serious portraits come almost by themselves in the pauses, when everyone is calm for a moment.
I go at your pace: we stop for an ice cream, let the baby rest, force nothing. With kids, flexibility is what makes the photos turn out happy rather than tense.
Season, duration and delivery
The family season in Ibiza runs from May to October. With kids I recommend avoiding the strong midday sun: the session works best early in the morning or in the golden hour before sunset, when the light is soft and the temperature pleasant. September is ideal: warm water and calmer beaches.
A family session lasts around an hour —the right pace for little ones— and covers one or two nearby locations. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share or print, delivered within five to ten days.
The price is from 180€. If you're a large family, want to include grandparents or add a second location, we adjust it at booking.
