Alicante is a city tailor-made for families: Postiguet beach sits right in the centre, the Explanada de España invites strolling under the palms and everything is close, with no cars or long distances. That means a stress-free session where kids can be kids and you can simply enjoy.
Family photos aren't about looking perfect. They're about keeping how you were this year: the ages of the little ones, the hands that reach for each other, the laughter that spreads. A decade from now these images will be worth more than any souvenir.
My way of working is light and playful. I don't ask everyone to look at once or smile on command; I spark play, let life happen and shoot at the exact moment the family is truly itself.
Where we shoot and how we do it with kids
Postiguet beach, in the heart of the city, is our favourite for families: sand to run on, waves to splash in and sunset light that gilds everything. Under the palms of the Explanada de España there's shade and room for the little ones to move, and the marble mosaic gives portraits an elegant backdrop.
If you want something with more city flavour, the colourful lanes of Santa Cruz are a perfect playground, and the port adds boats, water and reflections. We choose together based on your children's ages and energy.
With kids I direct little and observe a lot. I turn the session into a game — chasing, hunting for shells, telling a secret — and between giggles and dashes come the spontaneous portraits and also, without anyone noticing, the ones of the whole family together and looking.
Season, duration, delivery and price
Alicante is warm almost all year, which makes it very comfortable to come with kids. The best light arrives in late spring and early autumn; the golden hour at sunset is ideal, soft and flattering. In summer we prefer first thing in the morning, before the heat and the beach crowds.
The session lasts around an hour to an hour and a half — just enough time so the little ones don't tire and we keep their best mood. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share and print, within five to ten days.
The family shoot starts from €180. If you'd like a second location, grandparents or extra members, or an outfit change, we adjust it to your measure at booking.
