Yes, that's exactly my speciality in these sessions. I arrange the group at several heights —some seated, others standing, the kids in front— so every face shows well and the composition is harmonious. I take several frames in a row to guarantee that in at least one no one has their eyes closed. For large groups I choose a spacious location so we fit without crowding.

The secret is order and pace. I take the everyone-together photo first, while the kids are still calm and attentive. Once I have it, I let them off to play and capture smaller combinations without needing them to hold still. I don't keep the grandparents standing and waiting: we work in turns and they rest between shots. I keep the mood light and everything flows without tension.
