Our kids are small and never sit still — how do you manage?

I actually don't try to make them sit still. I take them to places where they can move — Gulliver park, the Turia lawns, the Malvarrosa sand — and photograph the play, the running, the laughter. Children in motion give the most genuine photos. All I need from the parents is to play with them and forget the camera; I handle the rest.

What's the best time to come with children?

Early morning or late afternoon, for two reasons: the light is golden and soft, and the children are rested, not cranky from sleepiness or heat. In summer we avoid midday. If your little one naps, we plan around it — I'd rather have a happy child than a time that's perfect on paper.

We're a large family with grandparents — do you cover that?

Yes, and they make for lovely sessions. For large families the Turia and Malvarrosa work very well because there's space and benches where the grandparents can sit comfortably between shots. I alternate whole-group photos with smaller moments — grandparents with grandchildren, siblings together — so the gallery tells the story of the whole family well.

What do we wear so the photos look good together?

A colour palette rather than a uniform. Pick two or three soft tones — beige, light blue, olive green, terracotta — and dress the whole family within that range, without being identical. It works beautifully with the green of the Turia and the Malvarrosa sand. Avoid large prints or bold logos, which distract. If in doubt, send me a photo of the clothes and I'll help.

A family session isn't about coming out perfect: it's about how you are when you're together. The hugs, the chases, the laughter at the wrong moment. My job is to follow you closely and capture those moments, so that in a few years you remember exactly what your children were like at this age.

Where and how the session works

For families with children, the Turia Gardens and Gulliver park are unbeatable: there's shade, grass, fountains and the giant Gulliver figure to keep the little ones busy while I shoot. If you want something more architectural, the City of Arts and Sciences gives a clean white backdrop with sheets of water.

Malvarrosa beach in the late afternoon is another lovely option: sand to play in, soft light and an open horizon. The old town, with Plaza de la Virgen and its stone streets, works well for families who prefer a more urban, calm setting.

I don't ask the children to stay still or look at the camera the whole time. I let them play, suggest little games, and photograph what really happens. All I ask of the parents is to be present and enjoy; the best photos come when no one is paying attention to me.

When, how long and what you receive

Valencia's mild climate lets us shoot almost year-round, and spring and autumn are ideal with children: pleasant temperatures and none of the summer heat. The best hours are early morning or late afternoon, when the light is golden and the little ones aren't yet tired.

A family session lasts about an hour, just enough time for the children to have fun without wearing out. If there are babies, we go at their pace and adapt to the breaks they need. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos within five to ten days.

Pricing starts from €180 and includes the session, professional editing and the gallery. If you'd like to add more time, a second location or have the grandparents join, we adjust that at booking.
