Family lifestyle session — Ibiza

A normal session includes portraits looking at the camera and gentle poses; lifestyle is a reportage: I observe and you live. Instead of 'stand here and smile', the plan is 'pack the snack, go to the cove, play', and I capture what happens. It's usually longer, more narrative and with far more spontaneous photos. If posing makes you uncomfortable, lifestyle is your format.

Yes, and it's what I recommend most. Where you're staying tells your trip better than any beach: breakfast on the terrace, the kids in the pool, morning light through the window. We start there, in the everyday, and then move to an outdoor location. I just need to know the space and the light's orientation in advance to plan the timing.

The latter, largely. The trick of lifestyle is giving the family a real activity to busy themselves with, so they stop thinking about the camera. That's why I plan small actions —cutting fruit, walking to the shore, reading a story— and you simply do them. Within five minutes you forget I'm there, and that's when the real gestures appear. You don't have to act; just be.

Since lifestyle is longer and more narrative, the gallery is usually bigger than a short session's: it covers the full arc of the time together, from the first quiet moments to the liveliest. I deliver all selected, edited high-resolution photos within five to ten days, in a digital gallery ready to share or print. If you need a preview, I send a few within forty-eight hours.
