Pregnancy is an unrepeatable and very short moment. A maternity session freezes those weeks when your body and your life are changing, so that one day you can show your child what their arrival into the world looked like.
Ibiza adds a serene beauty to those photos. The warm sunset light, the quiet coves and the golden walls create a poetic backdrop without tipping into the fussy: the star is the mother-to-be and the new life she carries.
I work gently and unhurried, making sure you're comfortable at every moment, so the session feels as calm as this stage should be.
Locations and how the session goes
For maternity I look for serene, easy-access places. The west coast at sunset, with Es Vedrà cut against the horizon, gives backlit photos with a beautiful silhouette of the bump. Cala Salada and Cala Comte offer gentle water and sand for barefoot, bright images, with no long walks.
If you prefer a backdrop with character, the quiet streets and viewpoints of Dalt Vila at sunset bring warm stone and views, with plenty of places to sit and rest.
The session is relaxed. I guide you with soft, flattering poses designed to keep you comfortable and let the bump look natural. I take many breaks and never ask for anything forced. If you come as a couple, I look for the closeness of the two of you waiting together; if you like, we also do beautiful individual portraits of the mother-to-be.
When, duration and delivery
The best time for a maternity session is between weeks 28 and 34, when the bump is nicely round but you still move comfortably. The Ibiza season runs from May to October; the golden hour before sunset is ideal, with soft light and pleasant temperatures. September, the velvet summer, is one of the most comfortable months for an expectant mother.
A maternity session lasts around an hour, unhurried and with breaks. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share or print, delivered within five to ten days.
The price is from 190€. If you'd like to include your partner, older siblings, flowing chiffon dresses for photos in the wind or a combined session with the newborn later on, we tailor that with you at booking.
