Palma de Mallorca: the urban capital of the Balearics

Palma is the only Balearic city with real urban scale (430,000 inhabitants vs Ibiza town 50,000). This means it offers monumental architecture (La Seu Cathedral from 13th-20th century, Almudaina Royal Palace, medieval Old Town) combined with elegant Mediterranean coast — composition neither Ibiza nor rest of Mallorca can give.

Palma's light is pure Mediterranean: 35-45 minute blue hour in May and September, sunsets with warm tones reflected in the bay. La Seu Cathedral viewed from Parc de la Mar at sunset is one of Spain's most recognizable images — park water reflects Gothic façade creating perfect symmetry.

For urban Mallorcan photography (alternative to rural — Tramuntana, fincas, coves), Palma is the obvious option. Ideal for urban wedding without destination feel but with Mediterranean backdrop, for professional personal brand, for couple session before/after wedding at Tramuntana venue. Airport 8 minutes from center.
