Before the wedding, on Ibiza

A pre-wedding session isn't a miniature wedding: it's the chance to be photographed relaxed, without the pressure of the big day, and to practise together in front of the camera. From it come the images for invitations, the couple album, or simply to keep how you were just before marrying.

Ibiza gives that story a setting with personality. It isn't the usual city park: here there are turquoise coves, legendary sunsets on the west coast and the historic stone of Dalt Vila. A backdrop that looks as good today as the day you show these photos to your children.

Locations and how the session flows

For couples we choose by mood. Cala Comte brings turquoise water and the reds of sunset for something bright and barefoot. The whitewashed streets and bougainvillea corners of Dalt Vila add texture and urban romance. And the viewpoint over Es Vedrà offers the island's most dramatic silhouette as the sun drops to the sea.

The session is a walk, not a stiff posing shoot. We move, we chat, I ask you to carry on with each other — a slow dance, a joke, a look — and I capture what's natural. When needed, I guide you with simple cues so the pose works without you having to think it.

We usually cover one or two nearby locations within the same light window. If you'd like a wardrobe change halfway, two very different settings or to arrive at the cove by boat, we arrange it at booking.

Season, duration and delivery

The season runs May to October, and September is the best month: mild sea, long sunsets and far fewer people than July and August. We shoot in the golden hour, just before sunset, on the west coast, where Ibiza gives its most cinematic light.

The session lasts one and a half to two hours and includes one location with posing guidance throughout; we can add a second or a wardrobe change.

You receive a digital gallery of carefully edited high-resolution photos, ready to share or print, within five to ten days. Rate from 190€; a second location, a look change or an arrival by boat are agreed at booking.
