Pregnancy is an unrepeatable stage, and it passes faster than it seems. A maternity session celebrates that body creating life, the connection with the one on the way and the excitement of the whole family before everything changes.
Barcelona offers backdrops that wrap a mum-to-be with elegance: the golden light of the sea, the warmth of the old town's stone or the calm green of its parks. A soft Mediterranean light that flatters the skin and brings serenity to every image.
My aim is for you to feel beautiful and comfortable, not exposed. I work calmly, guide you through each pose so the bump looks natural and harmonious, and leave room for the real emotion of this moment.
Where and how the shoot runs
The beach is the queen of pregnancy sessions. Barceloneta or Bogatell at sunset bring breeze, a dress in the wind and that golden light wrapping the silhouette — perhaps maternity's most iconic image. Walking barefoot on the sand makes everything flow naturally.
If you prefer something more intimate, Parc de la Ciutadella offers green, shade and calm for a serene session. And the Gothic Quarter brings stone streets and a warm, more urban, elegant light, ideal if you want an editorial feel.
I guide you the whole time: I show you how to place your hands on the bump, how to turn your body so the silhouette shows, when to look at your partner. If dad or the older siblings come, I weave them into tender scenes — hands on the belly, a kiss, an ear listening. We go unhurried, with pauses to rest.
When, duration and what you receive
The best time for a pregnancy session is between weeks 28 and 34, when the bump already looks round and beautiful but you still move comfortably. If you're expecting twins, it's worth bringing it forward a little. In Barcelona spring and early autumn give the most pleasant temperature; in summer we work at sunrise or sunset to avoid the heat.
A maternity session lasts about an hour, at a calm pace and with pauses to rest and, if you like, an outfit change to vary the style. We stay in one location, or two very close ones, so you don't tire.
You receive a digital gallery of hand-edited high-resolution photos, with careful, flattering retouching, ready in five to ten days. From €190; if you'd like to include your partner and the siblings, add an outfit change or a second location, we tailor it to you at booking.
