Lifestyle photoshoot — Barcelona

A portrait focuses on you looking at the camera, with more defined poses. Lifestyle is more narrative: you live a day around the city and I document what happens — gestures, laughter, small moments — with very few cues. The result feels like spontaneous memories rather than posed photos. Many people combine both in a single session, and we plan that at booking.

Of course, and I actually recommend it. Those small gestures — ordering at the bar of an El Born café, sharing an ice cream in La Barceloneta, peering into a shop window — are exactly what brings a lifestyle session to life. They make you forget the camera and let the photos tell a story. Just tell me in advance what you'd like to do and I'll fit it into the route.

It works very well, precisely because it doesn't force anyone to hold still posing. With kids, lifestyle is the best option: they run, play and explore, and I capture that. Parc de la Ciutadella and La Barceloneta beach are ideal for them to move freely. I adapt the pace to their rhythm — snacks, breaks — and we work when they're most relaxed, usually early in the day.

Both. I know Barcelona well, so the route runs through pretty, uncrowded corners you might not find on your own, and along the way I tell you what each place is and where to grab a bite afterwards. The session ends up feeling like a walk with a local who also takes beautiful photos of you, not a cold assignment.
