It doesn't need to obey or know how to pose — in fact, the best photos are usually of animals in motion or doing their own thing. I work with patience and fast reflexes to catch the good moment when it appears, not to force the dog to hold still. Your help with voice, treats or a toy does the rest. A restless dog isn't a problem: it's energy that turns into lively photos.

It depends on your pet's character. For active dogs that love to run, Bogatell beach with sand and sea, or the Collserola trails with open nature, give dynamic shots and beautiful backdrops. For calmer pets, cats or small puppies, Parc de la Ciutadella with its grass and shade, or even their usual surroundings, work better because they feel safe. I'll recommend the spot based on what your animal is like and the photo style you want.

Of course, and it's usually one of the loveliest parts. The bond between you and your pet — a hug, a walk, that moment of connection — makes for images full of emotion that often end up being the favourites. We can spend part of the session on portraits of your animal alone and part on the two of you together. If more family want to come, that fits too; we discuss it at booking to set aside the right amount of time.

Yes. Dogs are the most common, but I also photograph cats, rabbits, horses and other pets. Cats are usually more comfortable at home or on their own turf than in a park, so for them it's normal to come to your place, where they feel safe and behave naturally. For each animal I adapt the pace, the patience and the location; what matters is that it's calm so its real character comes through. Tell me what pet you have and we plan it to suit them.
