Pets share a whole life with us and yet they rarely have a portrait worthy of it — just blurry phone snaps. A dedicated session changes that: sharp, characterful images that truly capture what your dog or cat is like.
Barcelona offers ideal settings for it. Parc de la Ciutadella gives grass, trees and soft light among shade; the Barceloneta and Bogatell beaches give sand and sea for dogs who love to run; and the Collserola trails give open nature a step from the city.
The goal isn't a forced pose but your pet being itself: the gaze, the ears, that expression you recognise instantly, frozen in a photo you'll want to hang at home.
What a session with animals is like
With animals you don't command, you accompany. I work at their pace, unhurried, letting them get used to the place and to me before going for the good frames. I bring patience, treats and fast reflexes to catch the right gesture the moment it appears.
You take part: your voice, your hand or their favourite toy help draw their attention and get those alert ears and bright eyes. For high-energy dogs, Bogatell beach or the Collserola trails allow movement shots — the run, the jump, the water. For calmer pets or cats, Parc de la Ciutadella or a familiar setting works better.
I always choose the soft-light window — early morning or late afternoon — which flatters the coat and keeps the animal from overheating or hard reflections. If your pet feels safer at home or in its usual park, I come there too.
Duration, delivery and price
The session runs around one to one and a half hours — enough time for your pet to relax and to get variety, without pushing it until it tires or gets bored. If you like, you can be in some photos too: the bond between you makes for beautiful images.
You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, with an edit that respects the colour and texture of the coat and brings out the expression, delivered within five to ten days.
Pricing starts from €150 and includes the session, the direction during the shoot and the edit of the final selection. If you want a second location, to add the family or to expand the gallery, we adjust that at booking.
