A good portrait isn't about perfect poses — it's about finally recognising yourself in the photo. My job is to read your expression, the way you look and laugh, and build an image around it that is unmistakably you.
Barcelona gives character without trying: Gaudí's modernism, the stone of the Gòtic and the sea light bouncing between façades. You don't need a busy backdrop — the city brings texture and atmosphere, and you bring the presence.
Whether you come to refresh your professional profile, mark a chapter or simply have good photos of yourself, we head out with a clear plan and come back with portraits that look neither studio-stiff nor touristy.
Where we shoot and how the session runs
We start by choosing the setting that fits you. The Gòtic and El Born, empty early in the morning, give old stone and soft light between alleys. Passeig de Gràcia and the Casa Batlló façades bring modernism and urban elegance. The Bunkers del Carmel put the whole city behind you at sunset, and Parc de la Ciutadella adds green, water and calm for something more natural.
During the session I guide you the whole way — where to put your hands, where to look, how to walk so it reads relaxed — but I leave room for the real you to show up. We talk, we move, and the best frames usually land between one cue and the next.
A typical session runs an hour to an hour and a half and covers a couple of nearby locations. If you want a wardrobe change or a more editorial look, we plan it at booking so the time pays off.
Season, duration, what's included and delivery
Barcelona works year-round. May, June, September and October give the best balance of warm light and quiet streets; in summer we go out at first light or at sunset to dodge the heat and the crowds. The golden hour just before sundown is the most flattering for portraits.
The session includes one to two hours of shooting, one or two locations, my full guidance on pose and expression, and a digital gallery of carefully edited high-resolution photos, ready to print or use on professional profiles. Delivery lands in five to ten days.
The price is from €150. If you want more time, wardrobe changes, an extra location or printed copies, we quote it to your measure at booking, with no surprises.
