How many outfit changes can I bring per session?

It depends on the length. In a 90-minute session I recommend one or at most two looks: the time is better spent shooting than changing. In a 2 to 3 hour session you can comfortably bring three or four looks. We change at points along the route, and I usually point out a nearby café or discreet spot at each location to make it practical.

What if there are people in the background of the photos?

In Barcelona it's almost impossible to avoid some life in the background, especially in the Gothic Quarter and the Born. What I do is wait for the moment or the framing where people are far enough or out-of-focus enough not to compete with the subject. Sometimes a blurred passer-by or a moving bicycle adds energy to the image: it's part of the DNA of urban street style. If we want completely clean backgrounds, we go to quieter spots or shift the time to the early hours.

Do you work with brands and collaborations?

Yes. I work with fashion, accessories and lifestyle brands for Instagram content, digital lookbooks, seasonal campaigns and PR. If the brief is for a brand campaign, we ask for a brief, references and mood board so the result fits the brand's visual identity. We also deliver with a usage licence for all digital formats and all agreed channels.

I have no experience in front of the camera, will that be a problem?

Not at all. Most of the people I work with aren't professional models. Street style works precisely because it doesn't look for the perfect pose but the authentic moment. I give concrete direction — where to look, where to put your hands, how to walk — and work at a pace that doesn't create pressure. After the first ten or fifteen minutes people forget about the camera and that's when the best images arrive.

Street style in Barcelona doesn't compete with the setting: it uses it. The best images are those where the background reinforces the look, the architecture converses with the style and the Mediterranean light does the rest. Neighbourhoods, looks and how we shoot

Before the session we talk about the concept: whether it's pure editorial, lifestyle, brand content or personal portfolio. From there we design the route through two or three neighbourhoods that fit that tone. There isn't a single Barcelona for street style: there are as many as there are looks.

During the shoot I work in movement and in static depending on the moment. I alternate tight detail frames with wide shots where the neighbourhood breathes; I capture both the unguarded instant and the crafted composition. When working with brands or on a lookbook, we add references and a mood board beforehand so the result is consistent with the client's visual identity.

If there are several looks, we plan the changes by neighbourhood: a more structured look for the Gothic Quarter, something more fluid in the Born, textures or layering in Poblenou. The change of setting makes each look breathe on its own.

Light, duration, what's included and delivery

Barcelona has very good light for most of the day, but the late golden hour — from June to September between 7 and 9 pm — is unbeatable for street style. The low light makes façades glow, stretches shadows and gives that warm tone that makes photos look magazine-ready. In winter and spring the early morning gives a soft light perfect for cleaner looks.

Sessions run from 90 minutes to 3 hours. A 90-minute session covers one neighbourhood with one or two looks and delivers 30 to 50 edited photos; a 3-hour session covers two or three neighbourhoods with several changes and 80 to 150 photos.
