Your dog or cat is part of the family, and deserves a portrait worthy of them — not a blurry phone snap, but images that catch their character: the gaze, the alert ears, that expression only you recognise.
Madrid has open spaces perfect for it. The Retiro park, with its tree-lined walks, the pond and the Palacio de Cristal, gives a green, elegant backdrop for outdoor photos. Casa de Campo, far larger and more natural, is ideal for dogs that need to run and let loose without the stress of the city.
The goal is for your pet to be comfortable and be itself; that's where the best photos come from.
How a shoot with a pet runs
The session goes at the animal's pace, not the other way round. We start by letting it sniff and get to know the place; while it relaxes, I'm already shooting the first spontaneous frames. I work with a telephoto lens so as not to invade its space and to catch natural gestures from a distance.
You're my best assistant: with your voice, its treats and its favourite toy we get the ears up and the eyes to camera at just the right moment. For cats and shyer animals, patience and soft light; no flashes to startle them.
The Retiro works for elegant portraits among the green and by the pond; Casa de Campo for action shots — running, jumping, chasing the ball — with space to spare. And if your pet is happier at home, we do the session in its own environment, where it feels safe.
Duration, delivery and price
The session lasts around an hour — as long as an animal stays comfortable without tiring or losing interest. We pick the morning or late afternoon slot, when it's cooler and the park is quieter, better for the pet and for the light.
You receive a digital gallery with an edited selection in high resolution, where the colour of the coat, the shine of the eye and the sharpness of the gesture are looked after. The key images are worked in detail and delivery is five to ten days.
The price starts at around €150 for the standard session. If you want to include the whole family with the pet, a second location or prints to frame, we adjust it at booking.
