Your dog and the Ibiza landscape

Animals look their best where they can be themselves, and few places allow that like Ibiza. Golden-sand beaches at sunrise, coastal paths between pines and rock, the calm coves of the north coast like Portinatx: open spaces where your dog runs, sniffs and relaxes, and where the island light makes the coat shine.

A good pet portrait isn't asking them to sit still looking at the camera — that almost never works. It's capturing their character: the perked ear, the dash along the shore, the knowing look when they search for you. Ibiza gives the setting and the space for that to truly happen, without stress or tight leashes.

How a session with your pet works

We start on a beach or coastal path your dog can enjoy, ideally at sunrise, when the sand is cool, the spot empty and the light soft. I spend the first minutes letting the animal get used to me and the camera — no rush, letting them sniff and move — so they're relaxed and natural afterwards.

I work with a telephoto lens to photograph them from some distance without crowding them, which lets me catch their honest expression and real movement: the dash along the shore, the jump, the shake after the water. You take part, because your voice and presence draw out their best look; many of the best photos come when you look at each other.

I mix those action moments with a calmer portrait among the rock or on the sand. I bring treats and patience, force no poses, and adapt to the animal's pace. If you have more than one pet or want to appear in some photos yourself, we fit that in with no trouble.

Duration, delivery and price

The session lasts about an hour, just enough for the animal to enjoy it without tiring or losing interest. We do it at sunrise or late afternoon, when it's cool — important in summer, because midday sand burns paw pads — and the light is at its best.

You receive a high-resolution digital gallery with the best images edited, with careful colour and light so the coat and the gaze look as they do in person. Delivery is in five to ten days, ready to share or to print and frame.

The price is from €150, and includes the session and the edited gallery. If you want to add a second pet, an extra location or quality prints to hang at home, we quote it to measure at booking.
