That's exactly why I don't make you pose. I give you small things to do — walk hand in hand, recall your first date, tease each other a little — and I photograph what happens in between. The closeness of a couple who's been together for years shows on its own; my job is to stay out of its way. Within ten minutes you forget the camera.

Can we time the session around a dinner or special surprise?

Yes, and it looks lovely. Many couples book sunset at the Templo de Debod or on the Círculo de Bellas Artes rooftop and then head to dinner nearby. If one of you is planning a surprise for the other — a gift, a letter, renewing the promise — we agree on a signal by message and I capture it from a distance, just like a proposal.

How many locations fit into one session?

In a one-hour to ninety-minute session we comfortably cover two, sometimes three nearby corners — say Retiro and Debod, or Plaza Mayor and Gran Vía. More than that tends to cost calm and starts to feel like a race. If you're keen on several different spots, we extend the time and plan it so the walk stays enjoyable.

Do you have ideas for a milestone anniversary, like a silver one?

For a milestone anniversary I like to give the story weight. If you have an old photo from when you started out, we can recreate its pose or place and set them side by side — the contrast is moving. Details work too: the same clothes from a trip, a meaningful object, or quietly inviting your children for a couple of family portraits at the end. We talk it through beforehand so the session tells your story, not a generic one.

The corners that portray you best

The Parque del Retiro is the natural start: the Palacio de Cristal with its light filtered through the trees, and the boating lake, give a serene romance — the slow, hand-in-hand kind of walk. It's where a couple who knows each other by heart relaxes at once.

At sunset we head to the Templo de Debod, where Madrid's sky catches fire behind the Egyptian temple and your silhouettes stand out against the orange. From there, if you like, we drop down to the Plaza de España or stroll toward the Gran Vía, with its art deco façades and first lights, for a livelier urban close.

I won't ask you for impossible poses. We walk, we talk, I ask you to tell each other something only the two of you understand — and I shoot in that moment, when the real smile appears.

When, how long and what you receive

Spring and autumn are the kindest seasons in Madrid: clear skies and mild temperatures for an unhurried walk. In summer we work early or at sunset, dodging the midday heat; winter offers an intense blue sky and dry cold that's very flattering. The golden hour before sunset is always the prime slot.

The session lasts between one hour and ninety minutes — enough to move through two or three corners without rushing and let things flow. The centre is compact: from the Retiro to Debod is a short walk or a quick metro hop.

You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share and print, delivered within five to ten days. The anniversary session starts from €180; if you'd like to add a second location, an outfit change or a printed album, we adjust that at booking.
