Baby & newborn — Madrid

The first two weeks are ideal: the baby sleeps more deeply, curls up naturally and keeps that just-arrived look. So it's best to book during pregnancy and let me know once they're born, to set the date within that window. If those weeks have already passed, no problem: we do a more awake session with more interaction — just as lovely but different.

My style is natural and the baby's safety always comes before any photo. I don't do acrobatic poses or suspended setups that need complex compositing; I work soft, real scenes — the baby asleep in arms, on a blanket, beside you. The room stays warm, we go unhurried and the baby is never forced into anything. Calm and tenderness above all.

You don't need to buy anything. My approach is simple and timeless: a neutral blanket, your arms, the window light and little more. If you have an object with sentimental value — a family blanket, an inherited soft toy, a special garment — we happily include it. But elaborate hats and baskets aren't my style; I'd rather the photo still look like yours years from now, not like a trend.

Of course, and they're lovely scenes. An older sibling's first meeting with the baby usually gives the tenderest photos of the session. We do it at the start, when the children are freshest, and then I let them play while I continue with the baby. The pet can also appear in a couple of calm shots.
