We only have a couple of days in Madrid — when do we fit the session in?

With little time, the best option is a sunset session on your first full day: you arrive rested, get the best light, and have the whole evening free to dine and celebrate. If your schedule is tight, sunrise is a gem — the city empty, soft light and the whole day ahead. I fit your itinerary, not the other way around.

We're not the posing type — will it look natural?

That's exactly the style. I don't put you in magazine poses; I ask you to walk, to hug crossing a square, to laugh at a joke. I move around capturing what really happens. Newlyweds have a chemistry that shows on its own, and my job is to let it appear without forcing it.

Can we mix city photos with a rooftop or terrace?

Yes, and it's a lovely combination. We start at street level in Malasaña or the Plaza Mayor for the intimate shots, then finish on a rooftop like the Círculo de Bellas Artes for sweeping sunset views. Some rooftops have an entry fee or minimum spend; I let you know in advance so there are no surprises and we plan it all out.

How many outfits or looks should we prepare?

One elegant but comfortable look is enough for a one-hour to ninety-minute session; the key is that you can walk easily. If you fancy it, a second change works nicely to separate the urban part from the rooftop, and we plan it at a point on the route with somewhere to change. Muted colours and earth tones suit Madrid's golden stone especially well.

A honeymoon is the first trip as newlyweds, and it flies by. A session in the middle of it leaves you with more than phone snapshots: images made to hang at home, that moment of beginning life together in a city you'd never seen.

Madrid doesn't sell itself on a beach postcard, and that's why it wins you over slowly: terraces with views, century-old taverns, squares that fill at dusk and a high light that gilds everything. It's a city honeymoon — wandering with no clock, discovering together.

All you have to do is enjoy the trip. I'll make sure it's kept in images.

Where we walk and how the session feels

We start where Madrid is most romantic up close: the lanes of Malasaña and Chueca, with their coloured walls, flower-filled balconies and cafés — perfect for intimate, arm-in-arm shots. It's the city's liveliest, youngest face.

For the high point we go up to a rooftop — the Círculo de Bellas Artes viewpoint — and watch Madrid spread out under the sunset sky, or we stop at the Templo de Debod as the sun drops and everything turns gold. If you want the classic postcard, the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol at dusk close the walk with lights and capital-city elegance.

There's no choreography. I ask you to walk, to wander down a street, to try a coffee — and I capture that first married closeness, light and happy.

Season, duration and delivery

Madrid works all year round for a honeymoon. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable for walking; in summer we choose sunrise or sunset to dodge the heat of the centre; winter offers blue skies and clean sunsets over the city. The golden hour is always the favourite, and at nightfall the Gran Vía lights add their own magic.

The session lasts between one hour and ninety minutes — enough to cover two or three corners calmly. Everything is a short walk or a couple of metro stops away, so we use the time without stress.

You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share and print, within five to ten days. The honeymoon session starts from €170; if you'd like to add a rooftop with a cocktail, a second area or a change of look, we arrange it at booking.
