Engagement photoshoot — Madrid

In practice they're very similar, but the focus changes. An engagement celebrates the moment of getting engaged, with the ring and the fresh news in the spotlight — perfect to announce it or as a save-the-date. A pre-wedding is usually done closer to the wedding, with the event already in motion, and is often planned for the website, invitations or a photo display. Both use the same Madrid locations; we just fine-tune the tone and the photos' destination when planning.

The ring appears within natural gestures, not jewellery poses. A hand on the other's chest, fingers laced during a walk, a toast, hands together with golden Debod behind. I take a couple of closer, careful frames of the ring during a quiet moment, but most photos show it as part of the scene, not as an advertising close-up. It reads elegant and true.

Of course, and it looks great! The Retiro and Plaza de España are perfect for a session with a dog: there's space, green areas, and the pet stays on a lead except in the designated zones. I'd suggest bringing someone who can hold it during the moments we want just the two of you, and treats to keep it focused.
