Madrid offers two registers in one city. The high, clean light of the meseta sculpts the figure at sunset by the Templo de Debod; and a window-lit studio gives intimacy, flowing fabrics and a neutral backdrop that puts the focus on you. You choose the tone — ethereal and luminous, or restrained and sculptural.
You don't need to know how to pose. I guide you gesture by gesture, breath by breath, until the body relaxes and the image appears on its own.
Where and how we build the portrait
For the luminous outdoor register, the Templo de Debod at sunset is unbeatable: open sky, reflecting water and an Egyptian temple cut against the orange. The Parque del Retiro adds greenery, the Palacio de Cristal and softly shaded corners for a more romantic, nature-driven version.
For the studio register we work with window light, long fabrics that wrap and float, and a neutral backdrop. Here we control every beam of light to sculpt the silhouette — it's the most intimate format, ideal if you prefer privacy or if the weather won't cooperate.
The session blends wide portraits that show the full figure with close details — hands on the bump, a backlit profile, the curve in half-shadow. If you wish, your partner joins part of the frames to add those knowing gestures that say so much.
When, how long and what you receive
The best window is between weeks 28 and 34, when the bump already tells the story but you still move comfortably. Outdoors we chase the golden hour at sunset; in the studio we set the light ourselves, so the time of day doesn't matter. Spring and autumn are Madrid's kindest months; in high summer we shoot at first or last light.
The session runs an hour and a half to two hours, unhurried, with time for one or two changes of fabric or dress. If you like, we bring in flowing textiles, flower crowns or a more dramatic chiaroscuro lighting.
You receive a digital gallery of carefully edited high-resolution images, delivered in five to ten days, ready for large-format printing. The artistic maternity session starts from 190€; fabric wardrobe and studio options included, enlargements and a printed album tailored on request.
