Artistic maternity — Alicante

Between weeks 28 and 34 is usually the sweet spot: the bump is round and photogenic and you still move easily to climb the castle or walk the beach. For a multiple pregnancy we usually bring it forward, towards weeks 26-30. We adjust it to how you're feeling.

That's the most normal thing in the world and you don't need to worry about a thing. I direct you the whole time with simple cues — turn your shoulder, lower your chin, breathe deeply — and we start with comfortable gestures until you relax. Most of my clients arrive nervous and are laughing within ten minutes. You just let yourself be guided.

I keep a small set of airy fabrics and a couple of flowing neutral dresses that work beautifully against the backlight at Postiguet. Even so, the loveliest thing is to mix them with something of yours — a dress you adore, your partner's shirt. Before the session we talk through the palette so everything matches Alicante's light and setting.

Yes, and it's one of the most beautiful options in artistic maternity. We always work with backlight, fabrics and play of shadow so the result is elegant and suggestive, never explicit. We look for sheltered spots — a quiet cove at sunrise, a studio with natural light — and you set how far you feel comfortable. Your privacy comes first.
