Valencia is a gift for street style because it has two very different urban textures a step apart: the white concrete and futuristic curves of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, and the graffiti walls, shutters and cables of El Cabanyal. In a single session you go from science fiction to the fishermen's quarter.
Street style isn't a studio pose, it's attitude in motion. You walk, you stop, you look away, you adjust your jacket — and I shoot in bursts to keep the frame where the look and the gesture click together.
Here the backdrop is as much the lead as you are: architecture, street, colour and hard Mediterranean light all working in favour of your outfit.
The locations and the shooting rhythm
The strongest block is almost always the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias: walkways, white staircases, pool reflections and those curved Calatrava lines that frame a silhouette like no other backdrop. We look for clean angles and contrast so the clothing stands out.
Then we shift the energy in El Cabanyal, with its tiled façades, coloured shutters and painted walls — a textured, neighbourhood backdrop that calls for more urban, easy-going looks. The stone streets of the old town, near the Plaza de la Virgen, add a more classic register when it suits.
We work on the move: I frame a background, give you a direction to move in, and shoot several passes until we have the frame. A session runs an hour and a half to two hours and allows one or two outfit changes depending on the plan.
Light, duration, delivery and price
Street style allows more hours of the day than other genres: the hard midday Mediterranean light gives strong shadows and contrast with an editorial feel, while the golden hour softens and bathes Calatrava's white in warmth. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for temperature and clear skies.
A session lasts an hour and a half to two hours, with one or two outfit changes. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, with careful colour treatment, within five to ten days.
A street style session in Valencia starts from €150, including the route, the shoot on the move and the editing. If you want more looks, an extra location or a styling assistant, we adjust it at booking.
