Valencia is a city that knows how to celebrate: it has the elegance of a golden-stone old town, Mediterranean sun almost year-round, farmhouses and alquerías ringed by orange groves for the reception, and the sea fifteen minutes away for a couple session at sunset. Few cities offer such variety of settings in so small a radius.
I shoot weddings documentary-style: I'm with you from the preparations to the dance floor, alert to the glances, the parents' tears and the laugh no one saw coming. I don't interrupt the day — I record it as it unfolds, and set aside a separate window just for your couple portrait.
The goal is that twenty years from now you open the gallery and the whole day comes back: the warmth, the music, the hands that kept reaching for each other.
Ceremony, reception and a portrait through the city
The day usually starts with the preparations and the ceremony. For a civil wedding there are beautiful corners in the old town and the Plaza de la Virgen; for the reception, the farmhouses and alquerías of the Valencian huerta, ringed by orange trees, give that open-air celebration mood with warm light.
Between the aperitif and the dinner we steal forty minutes for your couple portrait. The Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias offers spectacular architectural backdrops and water reflections; the Turia riverbed, a green and intimate walk between historic bridges; and the Mercado Central and the centre's streets, that modernist Mediterranean charm.
If the light cooperates, we close at sunset on the Malvarrosa beach or in El Cabanyal, among the colourful fishermen's houses: golden sand, a clean horizon and the last warm light over the sea for the most relaxed portraits of the day.
Coverage, delivery and budget
Valencia marries well almost year-round. Spring and early autumn give the best balance: long days, clear skies and mild temperatures for an outdoor wedding. In summer we work the kind hours of light — early morning and sunset — to dodge the midday heat.
You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share and print, delivered within five to ten days after the wedding, with a first preview of standout images in the first days. Each wedding is planned with its own timeline so no important moment is left out.
Weddings are worked by project, made to measure, from around €900 depending on hours of coverage, second shooter, album or video. After a first conversation I prepare a clear, fixed quote, with no surprises.
