What's the difference between a family session and a lifestyle one?

A classic family session includes some portraits looking at the camera and slightly more directed moments. Lifestyle is fully documentary: you live a real activity — a picnic in the Turia, a morning at the beach — and I barely intervene, recording the day as an observer. If you want memories that look like any ordinary day of yours, well photographed, lifestyle is for you.

Can we do it at our home or accommodation instead of outdoors?

Yes, and lifestyle at home is lovely. Breakfast in pyjamas, the children playing in the living room, light coming through the window. I just need enough natural light — opening curtains and blinds usually does it. If you're visiting and staying in an apartment or hotel in Valencia, it also works perfectly. We can combine it with some time outside if you fancy.

My partner gets tense in front of the camera — how do you solve that?

Lifestyle is the best cure for that, because there's almost no posing. By doing something real — playing, walking, eating an ice cream — the mind is busy with the activity, not the camera. I keep my distance with a lens that lets me stay out of your space. Within fifteen minutes, once you're into the plan, the tension dissolves on its own.

How many photos do we get and how are they delivered?

You receive a full selected and edited gallery from the session — the number varies depending on how the day flows, but it's always a generous selection that tells the whole story, not just a few portraits. How we build the day

Together we choose an activity that's already part of your life or that you genuinely fancy. It can be a morning of play at Gulliver park, a bike ride along the Turia riverbed, or an afternoon of sand and waves at Malvarrosa. The more the plan is truly yours, the more natural the photos turn out.

If you prefer an urban, calm setting, the old-town streets around Plaza de la Virgen, with a stop on a terrace for a juice or an ice cream, give a more relaxed, Mediterranean lifestyle. The Cabanyal district, with its colour-fronted houses, adds a different touch.

During the session I barely direct. I let you get on with it and only step in with minimal suggestions to improve the light or framing. The children play, you're present, and I record the day as a discreet observer. The result is a gallery that feels like a memory, not a photo shoot.

When, how long and what you receive
