That's exactly why lifestyle works so well: there's almost no posing. I give you a small cue — walk towards that door, look at the view — and I capture the rest while we talk and stroll. Granada helps: there's so much to look at in the Albaicín that you forget the camera at once. Within ten minutes your shoulders drop and the photos start to really look like you.

Yes, and I recommend it. A break in a Calderería teahouse or a coffee with a view at a mirador isn't just a breather: they're some of the best photos, the most relaxed and true. I build it into the route as another stop. Granada is enjoyed without rushing, and that translates directly into images with soul.

Completely. With kids I shorten the distances and choose flatter, more open areas, like the Albaicín squares or the esplanade of the Mirador de San Nicolás, where they can run around freely. I work at their pace, not the other way round: the best family shots come when the little ones are in their element, not when they're asked to smile at the camera. We build in pauses for ice cream or a rest.

The Albaicín has slopes, I won't deny it, but I design the route in gravity's favour: we start at the viewpoint, up high, and walk calmly down towards the centre. In total we cover a couple of kilometres spread over an hour and a half or two, with breaks. I recommend comfortable footwear. If you'd rather avoid inclines, we set most of the session in the flat cathedral and Alcaicería area.
