How we work with your animal
The session moves at your pet's pace, not the other way round. We start early, when the carmen gardens and the Albaicín slopes are fresh and calm, so your animal feels safe and curious instead of overwhelmed.
I shoot with a fast lens and at eye level, so the portrait meets them as an equal. I let them sniff and explore while I catch the spontaneous gestures — ears alert, tongue out, the leap — and combine these with a more posed portrait using treats and toys to hold their attention.
If you want to be in some of the photos, we do that: the bond between you is often the loveliest part of the set. Bringing their favourite treat and toy helps enormously to get that look at the camera.
Logistics, duration and price
The session runs between an hour and an hour and a half, enough for your pet to relax without tiring. We meet at the edge of the Albaicín or at the agreed garden; we move on foot along pedestrian streets, so the walk is part of the fun. For dogs, a long lead is best, which we remove at safe spots.
The pet portrait starts at €150 and includes the guided session, several locations and professional editing, with retouching that respects the real colour of the fur and eyes. You receive the high-resolution digital gallery in five to ten days.
If you have more than one animal or want to include the whole family, we adjust at booking. Early morning is the best moment for soft light and calm.
