Family photoshoot — Barcelona

That's exactly how I like it. I don't try to make a child sit still and smile at the camera — that almost never works and looks forced. I turn the session into play: we run, jump, tickle, and I capture the real reactions. The photos where the little ones are moving and genuinely laughing are always the parents' favourites.

We coordinate it with their routines, not the other way around. For babies and young children, the first hour of the morning usually works best: they're rested, in a good mood and haven't spent their energy yet. If the nap rules, we do the session in late afternoon, which also gifts the prettiest golden light. The key is catching the little ones at their best time of day.

Of course, and they make beautiful sessions. For large groups I choose locations with space and easy ground, like Parc de la Ciutadella, where everyone fits comfortably and the grandparents can sit between shots. I mix portraits of the whole group with smaller combinations — parents with children, grandchildren with grandparents. Let me know the number of people at booking so I plan the time well.

You receive a private digital gallery with the best photos hand-edited in high resolution, within five to ten days. From there you download everything, share with the family or order prints. They're perfect to send to the grandparents, make an album or hang at home. If you need a photo sooner for a specific occasion, I prepare a small preview.
