In Barcelona I work with a natural, gentle approach, putting the baby's comfort and safety above everything. No forced poses or fussy props: soft light, warm tones and the real tenderness of your brand-new family.
You're in the middle of adjusting, sleepless and learning every day. My job is to make it easy, go at your pace and let the session be a calm moment, not one more effort.
At home or outdoors: how the shoot runs
For a newborn, the most comfortable is usually in your own home. There the baby is in its environment, with everything to hand, and I only need a room with natural light from the windows. We work calmly, with pauses to feed and soothe, no clock.
If the baby is already a few weeks old and the weather is kind, we can also head to a quiet, sheltered setting, like a shady corner of Parc de la Ciutadella, for outdoor photos with soft light. For slightly older babies who already hold their head up, a stroll through El Born or a morning at Barceloneta beach gives beautiful, natural images.
I capture the details — hands, feet, eyelashes — and also the whole family: the baby in dad's arms, mum rocking it, the siblings peeking curiously. All gently and unhurried, always prioritising that the little one is calm.
Ideal age, duration and what you receive
For newborn photos, the first days of life are ideal if you want the baby very sleepy and curled up; the first two or three weeks are perfect. But it's fine if you come later: every age has its charm, and with an awake, alert baby the photos are just as lovely. At home the session works all year; outdoors, the soft light of spring and autumn is the kindest.
A baby session lasts between one hour and an hour and a half, because we go unhurried: we stop when it's time to feed, change or soothe. That flexibility is exactly what keeps the baby and you relaxed.
You receive a digital gallery of hand-edited high-resolution photos, with a natural, timeless finish, ready in five to ten days. From €160; if you'd like to include the siblings, add portraits of the parents or extend the time, we adapt it to your situation at booking.
