If you live in Ibiza or you're spending this stage here, the island offers a soft, warm light and a calm setting perfect for photographing a baby without stress. We don't look for fussy props, but the real tenderness of your brand-new family, at home or in a serene outdoor corner.
I work with absolute calm, at your pace and the baby's, so the session is a lovely moment and not a test.
At home or outdoors, and how it goes
For newborns I almost always recommend your home. The baby is in its own surroundings, warm and safe, you have everything at hand, and the natural light from a window is enough for beautiful, delicate photos. I make use of the bed, the cot, your arms: the everyday told with tenderness.
If the baby is a little older and you fancy outdoors, I choose a quiet spot sheltered from strong sun —a softly shaded cove at sunrise, a garden, a corner of the Ibizan countryside at sunset— with no walking or exposure to midday heat.
I go slowly and patiently. We stop to feed, to soothe, to change as many times as needed. The session adapts to the baby, never the other way round, and that's exactly what makes the photos calm and natural.
When, duration and delivery
For newborns the ideal moment is the first two or three weeks, when they still curl up and sleep deeply, though any baby stage has its charm. In Ibiza, if the session is at home, we can do it year-round; if outdoors, we choose spring, early summer or autumn, and always at sunrise or sunset to escape the heat.
A newborn session lasts between an hour and an hour and a half, with no strict clock: the baby leads. You receive a digital gallery of delicately edited high-resolution photos, ready to share or print, delivered within five to ten days.
The price is from 160€. If you'd like to include siblings, grandparents or a combined maternity-and-newborn session, we tailor that with you at booking.
