We've been together for years and feel awkward posing — is that a problem?

On the contrary, that's the norm and the best thing. I won't ask for magazine poses; I'll ask you to walk, talk and tease each other like at home. My cues are minimal —how to hold hands, where to look— and I shoot while it happens. Couples with years of history come out best precisely because they no longer act: the real closeness shows.

For an anniversary, is Dalt Vila or the coastal sunset better?

It depends on the memory you want. Dalt Vila brings elegance and atmosphere with its old stone, arches and harbour view; it works beautifully late in the afternoon. The sunset facing Es Vedrà at Cala Comte is more romantic and dramatic, with a blazing sky and the rock's silhouette. If we have time, we chain both: start in the old town and drop down to the coast for sundown.

We want to surprise our partner with the shoot — is that possible?

Yes, and it's a lovely touch for an anniversary. We coordinate it by message: you tell me the time and the spot where you'll meet, and I arrive earlier and start shooting from a distance the moment your partner realises. Then we carry on with the relaxed session, both of you in on it. It works especially well at the Dalt Vila viewpoints or at a cove at sunset.

How soon do we get the photos to show the family?

I deliver the full digital gallery, edited in high resolution, within five to ten days of the session. If you need a couple of images sooner —to post on the anniversary day itself, say— I send a small preview within forty-eight hours at no charge. Everything arrives ready to share or print.

Your anniversary, in Ibiza

An anniversary doesn't need stiff poses or props: it needs the two of you, the years behind you and a place that lives up to them. Ibiza provides that place effortlessly.

The island has a side the club noise hides: golden walls, turquoise coves and sunsets that became famous for a reason. It's the perfect stage to celebrate one, ten or thirty years of shared history, with the warm afternoon light doing the rest.

You just walk, laugh and look at the sea the way you always do. I make sure that hour comes home as photos you'll want to hang on the wall.

Where I take you and how the shoot feels

For a couple with history I love settings with character. Dalt Vila, the walled citadel, offers stone alleys, arches and viewpoints over the harbour that work at any hour. If you want the legendary sunset, we head to the west coast facing Es Vedrà, where the silhouette of the island-rock closes the horizon.

For something more barefoot and bright we choose Cala Comte or Cala Salada: clear water, reddish rocks and sand for an unhurried walk. The session is a calm stroll, not a posing drill. I give you a few loose cues —how to hold each other, where to look— and let the rest happen on its own.

An hour is plenty for two or three different corners and for you to forget the camera, which is exactly when the best images appear.

Season, duration and what you receive

The Ibiza season runs from May to October. September is my favourite month —the so-called velvet summer—: still-warm water, long sunsets and far fewer people than the July and August peak. The golden hour before sundown is the star window; in high summer sunrise gives the same light with empty coves.

An anniversary session lasts around an hour and covers one or two nearby locations. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share or print, delivered within five to ten days.

The price is from 180€. If you'd like to extend it with a second location, a short video or a sunset arrival by boat, we tailor that with you at booking.
