Your family life, in Granada

Granada has a rhythm that lends itself to lifestyle work: calm mornings in the carmen houses, unhurried Albaicín streets and a clean mountain light that makes any everyday scene look good. This isn't a posing session, it's your family life with the city as a borrowed home.

The lifestyle approach is about documenting, not directing. Instead of placing you to face the camera, I suggest you do things together — walk, play, have breakfast outdoors — and I capture the real gestures that surface in between.

What a lifestyle session looks like

We can start in a carmen with a garden, that Granadan patio with bougainvillea and water, where the family moves freely while I work without interrupting. Then we head out to the white Albaicín slopes, where a walk turns into a natural sequence of photos.

If you'd like to end on a postcard, we pop up to the Mirador de San Nicolás for a couple of frames with the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada behind. The Paseo de los Tristes, flat and open, is perfect for the kids to run along the wall.

I don't stop to correct poses. I give you a couple of activity ideas and let the family dynamic flow: the glances, the cuddles and the laughter come on their own, and that's exactly what the lifestyle style captures.

Season, length and delivery

The soft light of early morning or late afternoon suits the lifestyle style best: natural and without harsh shadows. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable seasons; in summer we go at sunrise, when the Albaicín is cool and empty, and in winter the Sierra Nevada snow behind adds character.

A lifestyle session lasts an hour to an hour and a half, the time needed for the family to relax and forget the camera. The digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos arrives in five to ten days.
