The first weeks pass in a breath and don't come back. That tiny size, the wrinkled fingers, the deep sleep on your chest — all of it changes in days. These photos hold that unrepeatable moment forever.
I work with patience and great gentleness. The session goes at the baby's pace, not the other way round: we stop to feed, to soothe, for whatever is needed. Without rushing and without stress, the delicate portraits you'll remember your whole life come out.
At home or in studio, with soft light
The usual choice, and the one I most recommend, is the session in your Alicante home. I only need a room with a large window that lets in natural light — the bedroom or living room are usually perfect. We keep the space nicely warm for the baby and use their crib, bed and the corners that are already part of your life.
If you'd rather a more neutral, controlled backdrop, we can do it in a studio with soft window light and warm lighting. In both cases I prioritise safe, natural poses over complicated setups: the baby curled up, the parents' hands holding them, the tiny details.
The family takes part. We add portraits of the parents with the newborn and, if there are siblings, their first meeting with the baby — always calmly. Everything at a slow pace, with the heating on, soft music and all the time the little one needs.
When to do it, duration, delivery and price
The best time for the newborn session is the first days of life, ideally between five and fifteen days, when the baby sleeps deepest and curls up naturally. Doing it at home or in studio, we don't depend on the weather or season — Alicante's warm climate only helps keep the little one comfortable all year.
The session is long and clock-free: it usually lasts between two and three hours, because we go at the baby's pace, with their pauses to feed and settle. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share and print, within five to ten days.
The newborn session starts from €160. If you book it during pregnancy, I hold your approximate due date and we coordinate as soon as the baby arrives; you can add family portraits or a package that pairs it with the maternity session.
