A walk through Ibiza with a camera

The photo-tour is the best of both worlds: you discover the island's most historic side guided by someone who knows it, and you take home a beautiful reportage of the walk. It's not posing in one fixed spot — it's walking, looking and letting the city tell its story while I photograph you inside it.

Ibiza isn't only beach and party. Dalt Vila, the walled old town declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a maze of whitewashed lanes, Renaissance walls and viewpoints over the harbour. Walking it in the golden hour, unhurried, is an experience in itself.

The route and how it works

The classic route climbs through Dalt Vila: the Portal de ses Taules and its access bridge, the bougainvillea lanes, the cathedral at the top and the viewpoint over the harbour and marina. Along the way we stop at the corners with the best light and views for portraits, without losing the rhythm of the walk.

If you want more variety, we combine the old town with the Sa Penya fishermen's quarter and the Marina port, with its colourful façades and bohemian feel. To finish, we can head west in time for sunset if we chain it with a cove.

I work documentary-style: you walk, observe, I tell you what you're seeing, and I shoot. When a corner calls for a portrait, I give you a simple cue and we carry on. No need to know how to pose or to plan anything: I handle the map, the light and the itinerary.

Season, duration and delivery

The season runs May to October. Dalt Vila is best enjoyed first thing in the morning, when the streets are empty, or in the golden hour before sunset; at midday the island sun beats hard on the white stone. In September the island is quieter and the light is perfect.

The tour lasts one and a half to two hours, at walking pace, with several portrait stops through the old town. It pairs perfectly with a sunset on the west coast if you want to extend it.

You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share or print, within five to ten days. Rate from 150€; adding a sunset location or extending the route is agreed at booking.
