A proposal lasts a few seconds, yet it's the story you'll tell for the rest of your life. My job is to be there, invisible, so that instant is kept forever exactly as it happens — the surprise, the trembling hands, the yes.
You only think about the words. The place, the light, the angle and the exact moment are on me.
How a surprise proposal shoot works
Before the day we settle the essentials in a message: the time, where you'll arrive from, and a small signal — taking off your sunglasses, reaching into a pocket — that tells me the moment has come. Your partner won't notice a thing.
I arrive early, set up at a distance with a telephoto lens and blend in with any tourist looking at the bay from the Explanada or the castle viewpoint. By the time you give the signal I'm already shooting. No poses, no glances at the camera — just the two of you and what truly happens.
After the yes I step out to say hello and, if you'd like, we do a relaxed twenty- or thirty-minute mini-session nearby — the port, the palms, the Postiguet sand — with the ring already on and nerves dissolved into laughter. That way you get both: the stolen instant and a set of beautiful portraits to remember it by.
Where, when and what you receive
Every couple has its place. Castillo de Santa Bárbara offers the whole bay at your feet, perfect for a proposal with views and openness. The Explanada de España, with its palms and marble mosaic, wraps the moment in an elegant, luminous air. The port and marina bring boats, reflections and afternoon light on the water. And Postiguet beach gives something barefoot and romantic, with golden sand at sunset.
Light leads. The golden hour just before sunset is the magic window; in summer sunrise works just as well, when the locations are empty. Late spring and early autumn give the best balance of clear skies, mild temperatures and calm.
You receive a digital gallery of carefully edited high-resolution photos, delivered within five to ten days and ready to share or print. The basic proposal covers the moment itself and a short couple session, from €170; if you'd like to extend it with more time, a second location or a boat ride around the marina, we tailor that with you at booking.
