Alicante is a bright, relaxed city, perfect for an engaged-couple session: the open bay from Castillo de Santa Bárbara, the Explanada de España palms, the warmth of the port and the golden Costa Blanca sun at sunset. A setting that celebrates joy effortlessly.

An engagement session is your first shoot as a couple promised to marry, before the buzz of the wedding. We're not after magazine poses, we're after how you really are together — the closeness, the laughter, the new ring catching the sun. It's also the perfect rehearsal to feel at ease with the camera before the big day.

The route and how we work

We frame it as a walk at your own pace. We start in Barrio Santa Cruz, among coloured houses, flowered stairs and intimate corners where it's easy to stay close. We drop down to the Explanada de España to walk under the palms over the marble mosaic, with its elegant, open air.

We carry on to the port and marina, where the boats, reflections and afternoon light give a wide, luminous backdrop ideal for showing the ring. If you want views, we go up to the Castillo de Santa Bárbara viewpoint with the whole bay behind; and we finish barefoot on Postiguet beach as the sun turns golden.

I guide you with gentle cues — walk, hold each other, look at the sea, tell me how the proposal went — and shoot in between, when the gesture is real. There's time for a couple of outfit changes if you want to vary the tone. The idea is for you to enjoy the walk; the good photos come on their own.

When, how long and what you receive

The golden hour just before sunset is the best moment for an engagement session: warm, flattering light on skin, sea and ring. In summer sunrise gives that same softness with the city empty. Alicante's mild climate lets us work almost all year, and late spring and early autumn are the most comfortable.

The session lasts around ninety minutes, enough to move unhurried through two or three areas with one or two looks. You receive a digital gallery of hand-edited high-resolution photos, ready to share, print or use in your wedding details, within five to ten days.

Pricing starts from €170. If you'd like to extend with more time, an extra location such as a boat ride around the marina, or combine it with a save the date, we adjust it together at booking.
