We're only in Alicante for a few days. When's best to do the photos?

If you can, the first days: that way, if the weather turns, we have room to move the session without losing it. We always book the golden hour at sunset, which is when Alicante looks its loveliest. Tell me where you're staying and I'll plan a route nearby to make the most of the time, leaving the rest of your trip free to enjoy.

Is the boat trip to Tabarca worth it for the photos?

If you have half a day free, yes: Isla de Tabarca has clear water, white alleys and a Mediterranean island feel that yields beautiful photos unlike anything else. We need to factor in the boat timetable from the port, so we plan it ahead. If you're tight on days, the Explanada, the port and Santa Cruz already give a full and varied gallery without leaving the city.

Can we do part of the session on the beach, even barefoot or in the water?

Of course, and Postiguet beach, right in the centre, is ideal for it. Walking barefoot along the shore at sunset or letting the waves wet your feet gives very fresh, romantic images. If you fancy stepping into the water, bring clothes you don't mind getting wet and a change; the result is worth it. We adapt the plan to whatever you feel like in the moment.

We really don't like being photographed. Is this kind of session for us?

It's exactly for you. People who say that usually hate stiff, forced photos — and that's precisely what I don't do. I work in a relaxed, almost documentary way: we walk, we talk and I capture you being yourselves, with no rigid poses or forced looks at the camera. Most people end up surprised by how much they like seeing themselves genuine and together.

A honeymoon flies by. These photos are the way to stop time at the brightest moment of your story, when everything is new and you look at each other as if no one else existed.

I'm not after catalogue poses. I'm after the brand-new closeness of marriage: the easy laughter, the barefoot walk along the shore, that comfortable silence only two people just promised to each other forever can share.

The locations and how the session feels

We start where the light dictates. At sunset the Explanada de España is pure magic: tall palms, the rippling marble mosaic underfoot and the sky turning orange. Then we drop to the port and marina, with the yachts and shimmering water, perfect for those embracing portraits that look like a travel magazine.

For something more intimate we lose ourselves in Santa Cruz, the old quarter of white houses, blue shutters and hanging flowers, where every corner is a backdrop. And if you dream of the real sea, we finish on Postiguet beach or, with a little more time, on a boat escape to Isla de Tabarca.

The session lasts between an hour and a half and two hours and flows like a walk. You don't need to know how to pose: I give simple cues, let you walk, laugh and look at each other, and I capture what truly passes between you.

When, how long, delivery and price

Alicante's climate is inviting almost all year, but the most romantic light arrives in late spring and early autumn, with mild evenings and long sunsets. The golden hour before dusk is the most flattering moment; in summer we go for sunrise, when the Explanada and port are empty and the light is soft.

The session lasts between an hour and a half and two hours, enough to cover two or three locations without rushing. You receive a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to share and print, within five to ten days.

The honeymoon session starts from €170. If you'd like to add a boat escape to Tabarca, a second outfit change or a short video to remember the trip, we tailor it at booking.
