Where and how we shoot the portrait

The narrow lanes of Dalt Vila, the walled UNESCO old town, give a portrait full of texture: stone, shadow and ancient arches. If you want something cleaner and brighter, the white façades of central Ibiza and the whitewashed corners work like a natural studio full of reflected light.

For the outdoors, Las Salinas offers pines, dunes and still water; Cala Comte brings turquoise blue and golden rock. We start with loose frames so you settle in, I guide you with simple cues — where to look, how to shift your weight, what to do with your hands — and little by little the gestures that are truly yours appear.

A typical session lasts 60 to 90 minutes and covers two nearby settings. We move on foot or with a short car ride, without wasting time, to make the most of the best light.

Season, duration and what you receive

Ibiza's season runs from May to October. September is the velvet month: warm sea, a calmer island and soft light. Midday sun is harsh, so for portraits we prefer the golden hour in the afternoon or the early hours after sunrise, when the light is gentle and the coves are empty.

The session lasts 60 to 90 minutes. It includes planning locations and outfits over message, full posing guidance during the shoot, and a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, delivered in 5 to 10 days, ready to print or share.

I don't know how to pose, will I look stiff in the photos?
No. Most people who come think they can't pose, and that's exactly why I guide you the whole time. I give you concrete, small cues — turn your shoulder a little, look towards that wall, breathe and release — instead of asking for an abstract pose. We start gently so you get used to the camera, and within ten minutes you forget it's there. The best frames almost always come between cues, when you're relaxed.
What clothing works best for a portrait in Ibiza?
Natural tones and flowing fabrics match the island's white and blue perfectly: linen, beige, off-white, soft terracotta. Avoid large logos and very loud prints, which pull attention from the face. White linen against the whitewashed walls or a light dress at sunset in a cove gives a bright, timeless result. I advise you by message according to the location before the session, and we can even plan an outfit change.
Does it work for professional LinkedIn or personal branding photos?
Yes, and Ibiza gives them a different feel from the typical office backdrop. For personal branding we combine a few more polished, half-body frames, with clean framing and a direct gaze, alongside others set in the island that tell who you are. We talk beforehand about how you'll use them — website, social, press — so I frame and edit with that format in mind. The result is professional but with personality, not stiff.
