Portrait photography — Seville

It's the most normal thing in the world and I work with it every day. I don't ask you to pose: I give small prompts — walk towards me, look at that orange tree, laugh at how silly this is — and shoot between them. The first ten minutes are a warm-up; after that you forget the camera and the real gestures come out.

Plain warm tones — cream, terracotta, ochre, off-white — speak beautifully with the city's whitewash and tile and stop a busy print from stealing focus from your face. Fabrics with drape (linen, light cotton) move well in the breeze. If unsure, bring two options and we choose on the spot; in summer, dress light, since we walk outdoors.

From a one-hour session I usually deliver thirty to fifty hand-edited high-resolution photos, chosen for quality rather than padding. They arrive in a private digital gallery within five to ten days, ready to download, print or share. There's no limit on personal use.

For a personal portrait with a handheld camera and no studio gear, public spaces like the Plaza de España, the Santa Cruz lanes or the Guadalquivir bank need no permit. The Real Alcázar charges entry and has its own rules for shoots — if you want to work inside, we plan it and, if needed, arrange access at booking. In practice it's rarely an issue; we choose the route around what you want.
