Ibiza for the wall

There are images of Ibiza that deserve more than a screen: the Es Vedrà silhouette cut against a sky in flames, the turquoise of Cala Comte seen from above, the pink geometry of the salt flats at sunset, the golden stone of the Dalt Vila ramparts. As fine-art prints, made on archival paper, those views become pieces that give a home character.

A fine-art print isn't a poster. It's a physical work made to last decades: heavyweight cotton paper, pigment inks stable to light, calibrated colour and a detail a screen never shows. Each piece is prepared so the tone of the sea, the texture of the rock and the gradient of the sky read exactly as they should.

Edition, paper and print process

Each image is offered in a limited, numbered edition. That means a fixed number of copies is printed for each motif and size; once the edition sells out, it isn't reprinted. Each copy arrives signed and with a certificate stating its number within the run, which makes it a collector's piece rather than an endless reproduction.

I print on acid-free cotton fine-art papers, with finishes ranging from velvety matte to satin, depending on what suits the image: matte enhances the texture of stone and the calm of a shaded cove, satin gives more depth to the blue of the sea and the glow of sunset. The inks are pigment-based, with a permanence of many decades without colour shift.

Before the final run I make a calibrated colour proof to ensure what comes off the paper matches the vision of the image. You can choose the print alone or order it already mounted — passe-partout, frame or aluminium mount — ready to hang.

Sizes, delivery and price

Prints are offered in several sizes, from desktop formats to large wall pieces over a metre. Each size has its own edition number. I advise on which measurement works best for the wall, the viewing distance and the image: a panoramic of the salt flats calls for a long format, a portrait of Es Vedrà shines in vertical.

I print to order, so each copy is prepared for you: calibration, a proof if the size justifies it, printing, signature and certificate. Preparation and shipping take five to ten days; a frame or aluminium mount may add a few more days, which I tell you on confirmation.
