An engagement session is that point between the proposal and the wedding where you can finally breathe and enjoy being engaged. No surprise nerves, none of the big-day pressure: just the two of you and the joy of what's coming.
Barcelona suits that mood perfectly. The open sea of La Barceloneta, the sunset over the city from the Bunkers del Carmel, the modernist elegance of Passeig de Gràcia or the intimate corners of El Born — each place gives a different tone to your story.
It's also a perfect rehearsal before the wedding: you get used to the camera, discover how you move together and reach the big day already knowing how we work. And along the way, we get beautiful photos for the invitations or the save the date.
Locations and how the session runs
We design a route with variety. The Bunkers del Carmel at sunset give the whole city as backdrop and golden light. Passeig de Gràcia and the Gaudí façades bring elegance and a chic touch. La Barceloneta adds sea, sand and a carefree air, ideal for something more casual. And the alleys of El Born offer intimacy and warm stone for the tenderest moments.
During the session we don't go for rigid poses. I suggest things to do together — stroll holding hands, slow-dance, share wedding plans — and I capture the real reactions that arise. I guide you gently so you're flattered, but the connection is yours to bring.
If you'd like, we can coordinate two looks: a dressier one for Passeig de Gràcia and a relaxed one for the sea. We organise it by area at booking to make the most of the light and not waste time.
Season, duration, what's included and delivery
The golden hour before sunset is the most romantic, especially at the Bunkers with the city lit up. In summer sunrise is a gem: the same soft light and empty locations. Spring and autumn give the best balance of clear skies, pleasant temperatures and quiet streets.
An engagement session runs an hour to an hour and a half and covers two locations on foot. It includes my full guidance on pose and connection, and a digital gallery of warmly edited high-resolution photos, ideal for a save the date, invitations or simply for yourselves, ready to share or print.
The price is from €170. If you'd like to extend the time, add a third location, a second look or coordinate it with your wedding in the city, we prepare it to your measure at booking. Delivery lands in five to ten days.
