Why Madrid sells rooms
In Madrid the guest books with a thumb, on a phone screen, weighing your Malasaña flat against a hundred others. The photo that wins is the one that promises, in two seconds, light, space and a location they understand: a balcony over Gran Vía, the Retiro five minutes away, the pulse of Chueca below.
The capital's edge is its light. The high, clean sky of the meseta floods the windows by mid-morning and turns golden again late in the day, and a flat shot in that window looks larger and more expensive than the nightly rate suggests.
We don't sell a room: we sell the idea of waking up in Madrid. That difference is what lifts occupancy and lets you hold your price against the competition.
How we prep and shoot the stay
I arrive early and, before any frame, walk every room: I smooth the bedding down to the last wrinkle, hide cables, chargers and remotes, square the cushions and open the curtains to let Madrid's sky in. Twenty minutes of tidying beat any amount of later retouching.
I shoot on a tripod with a controlled wide angle at chest height, verticals kept straight so rooms read spacious but honest. I work each room in its best natural light and fill with bounced flash where the interior asks for it, without the cold cheap-portal look.
I tell a sequence, not a list: the arrival and living room, the bedroom, the kitchen and bathroom, the detail that sets you apart — a moka pot, the rooftop view, the terrace at dusk — and a closing shot of the neighbourhood, be it Malasaña, Chueca or the calm of Chamberí.
Delivery, usage and price
You receive a high-resolution gallery delivered in three to seven days, in two formats: horizontals optimised for the Airbnb and Booking cover, and verticals built for Instagram and the mobile carousel. Everything colour- and exposure-corrected, ready to upload as is.
The images are yours for commercial use: listings across every platform, your own site, campaigns and print. If you run several flats, we keep one consistent style of light and framing between them so your host brand is recognisable at a glance.
Pricing is per project and depends on the number of rooms and whether you want extras such as an exterior blue hour, rooftop shots or a short vertical video. I send a fixed quote before booking, with no surprises and no per-photo charge.
