As a newborn photographer in Santander, we always prioritise the baby's safety and comfort; the wrapped poses are achieved with patience, warmth and, when needed, compositing several frames — never by forcing the little one.

The ideal session is within the first 5 to 15 days of life, when the baby sleeps deeply and curls up naturally. We work in a heated studio in Santander or at your home, with blankets, baskets and soft props in neutral tones, and include portraits with the parents and siblings, which become the most moving over time.

We take our time — a newborn session can last 2-3 hours with breaks for feeds and changes — and deliver an edited gallery with a clean, timeless finish, ready to print and for the album of their first days.

When is the best time for a newborn session?

Between 5 and 15 days old, when the baby sleeps deeply and curls up easily. We recommend booking during pregnancy and letting us know at birth to set the date; we keep some flexibility because babies arrive when they wish.

Is it safe for the baby? How are the poses done?

Safety comes first. The more elaborate poses you see online are achieved by compositing several photos in editing, with an assistant supporting the baby in each frame. We never force positions: we work with warmth, patience and the little one's rhythm.

Is the session in a studio or at home in Santander?

We offer both. In a heated studio we have all the props and light control; at home in Santander we gain comfort for the mother and a more natural, lifestyle look. We advise you based on what you want.
