María Luisa Park, next to the Plaza de España, offers wide lawns, fountains and quiet paths where a dog can move freely, while Santa Cruz brings an intimate Andalusian touch for more refined portraits.
The warm southern light flatters fur and eyes, and the variety of spaces — from natural to architectural — lets us adapt the session to each animal's character, whether an energetic dog or a calm cat.
What the session with your pet is like
I work at the animal's pace, not the other way round. I arrive with patience and plenty of time, let your pet get used to the surroundings and shoot in moments of play, rest and natural attention, never forcing poses that make it uncomfortable.
The parks are ideal for catching movement — a dog running, jumping or fetching the ball — with fast shutter speeds that freeze the gesture. In Santa Cruz, instead, we look for calmer portraits: the gaze, the detail of the fur, the animal settled on a stone step in the shade.
You take an active part: your hands, your voice and its favourite toys or treats are the best tools for getting ears up and looks at the camera. If you like, we also do portraits of you together with your pet, which tend to be the favourites.
Logistics, timing and price
Seville's heat affects pets too, so sessions work best early in the morning or at sunset, when it's cool and the light is golden. The midday overheated ground isn't good for paws, and at those quiet hours the parks are emptier and the animal more relaxed.
The María Luisa Park and Santa Cruz locations are close together, so we can combine a natural and an architectural backdrop in the same session. Bring water, the lead, treats and the favourite toy; with those we get the best reactions.
Pricing starts from €150 and includes the session, the direction, one or several nearby locations and a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to print or frame, delivered in five to ten days.
