Pet portraits — Seville

Yes, and in fact energetic animals often give the most expressive photos. I don't try to force them to stay still: I use their natural movement with fast shutter speeds that freeze the jump, the run or the shake. Seville's parks give plenty of room to let off steam, and between runs come the calm moments for portraits. Patience and letting them be themselves are the key.

Of course, and they tend to be the images most treasured over time. We do a mix: portraits of just the animal and portraits of the bond between you — a walk holding the lead, a hug, a shared game. Your presence also calms the pet and helps it look at the camera. Just tell me at booking so we set aside enough time for both kinds of frame.

Yes. With cats and more territorial animals a familiar, calm setting usually works better, like your home or an enclosed patio, rather than an open park; we assess that by the animal's character. For small or exotic pets I work calmly and in short bursts so as not to stress them. Tell me what animal it is and how it behaves at booking, and together we choose the most suitable place and time.

The session starts from €150 and includes directing the session, one or several nearby locations and a digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, ready to print or frame, delivered in five to ten days. The edit enhances fur and eyes naturally. If you want to extend with more time, a second location or a framed print of your favourite, we quote that at booking.
