A portrait aims to show you; Fine Art aims to express an idea or emotion through you. Composition, atmosphere and concept matter as much as your face, and the result is conceived as a piece to hang, not a keepsake to file away.

Do I need an idea or concept before the session?

It's not essential: we develop it together in a prior conversation, starting from what inspires you. If you already bring an idea, fabrics, an emotion or painterly references, all the better; we turn them into a visual plan.

Can I print the photos to hang at home?

Yes, that's exactly the destination we have in mind for these images. We edit at high resolution for large format and advise on fine art paper, canvas and sizes; we can manage printing and shipping if you wish.

How much does a Fine Art session in Mallorca cost?

From €200 for a session of around 2 hours with a final selection edited with an authored treatment. Fine art printing, special props or concepts with wardrobe and a crew are quoted according to the project.

Why a Fine Art photoshoot in Mallorca

Fine Art photography doesn't document: it interprets. It works with atmosphere, silence and gesture to create images with the value of an artwork, made to hang on a wall rather than sit in an album. Mallorca is an exceptional stage for it: the morning mist over the Tramuntana olive trees, the bare rock of Sa Foradada and the mineral light of the coast offer an almost painterly texture.

We build each image like a painting: careful composition, a restrained palette and a narrative or conceptual intent defined with you. Body, fabric and landscape merge into a scene that suggests more than it shows.

Evocative locations and the creative process

Century-old olive groves of Deià and Valldemossa: trunks twisted like sculptures and light filtered through the leaves, an almost dreamlike stage for conceptual portraits with fabric and movement.

Sa Foradada and Cap de Formentor: rock, sea and a clean horizon for minimalist images where the figure converses with vastness. Caló des Moro at dawn brings still water and a silence you can see in the photo.

The process begins before the camera: we define a concept, a palette and a couple of painterly references. During the session we work slowly, searching for the pose, the fabric in the wind or the exact reflection; each frame is deliberate, not a burst.

Duration, season, delivery and print

A Fine Art session runs 2 hours or more, because the work is slow and reflective. We seek the day's extreme light — misty dawn or the blue hour after sunset — and atmospheres that summer midday can't give; spring and autumn, with their shifting skies, often hand over the most expressive conditions.
