You can climb on foot up Benacantil hill, a lovely but uphill walk, or take the lift that runs from a tunnel by Postiguet beach and drops you almost at the top effortlessly. If you'd rather save your legs to enjoy the views and portraits, we use the lift. We agree it according to your fitness.

While we take the photos I tell you about what you're seeing — the story of the Santa Cruz quarter, why the Explanada has that mosaic, what you can see from the castle — and give you tips on where to eat or what to visit afterwards. It's not a formal guided tour with headsets, it's a friendly walk with a camera through a city I know.

In the standard hour we usually cover two or three settings used well — for example Explanada and harbour, the Santa Cruz lanes and a castle viewpoint — without rushing. If you want more, like heading down to Postiguet beach or adding the old town at a calmer pace, we extend the duration. We design the route together beforehand so what truly interests you fits in.

Yes, the tour works great as a group: couples of friends, a hen or stag party, a family reunion. With several people it's wise to book a bit more time so everyone comes out well in individual and group portraits. The walking route through the centre allows it easily.
