A wedding is a single day, yet it holds a hundred moments that happen once and never return: the catch in the first glance, your father's hand letting go of yours, the burst of laughter mid-toast. My approach is documentary — present without intruding, alert to everything, so those moments are kept exactly as they happened.
Seville is a city built to celebrate. Andalusian passion is everywhere: the tilework, the orange trees, the warm light that gilds stone at sunset, the sound of a party that never quite ends. A wedding here needs no set dressing — the city is already the set.
You live the day with your people. I make sure that years from now you can live it all again, photo by photo.
How I cover the day
I start with the getting-ready — the dress, the details, the nerves and laughter as you prepare — and follow you through the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the party. I work mostly in reportage, catching what happens without directing, so the emotions stay real.
Seville offers exceptional wedding settings. For the couple session we head out at sunset to places like the Mudéjar gardens of the Real Alcázar, the tilework and bridges of the Plaza de España, or the orange-tree lanes of the Barrio Santa Cruz. The golden hour over the Guadalquivir, by the Triana bridge, gives a storybook ending.
For a full day I usually work with a second photographer, so nothing is missed: while I'm on a detail, the other catches the reaction across the room. We plan it around your timeline.
Season, coverage and delivery
Spring — especially April, around the Feria — and autumn are the best seasons to marry in Seville: kind temperatures and long, golden light. Summer is extreme heat, so summer weddings unfold at sunset and into the night, something I love to photograph.
Coverage adapts to your day: from a few hours focused on the ceremony and couple session, to the full day from getting-ready to party, with a second photographer when needed. We build it from your programme and guest count.
You receive a complete digital gallery of edited high-resolution photos, usually within a few weeks of the wedding, with a preview of the best images in the first days. Weddings are quoted by project; write to me with the date, venue and plan and I'll prepare a tailored proposal.
