How we cover the event
Before the day we go over the schedule with you: guest arrival time, key moments —speeches, awards, ribbon-cutting, group photo—, the brands and sponsors that must appear and the list of important people who can't be missing from the gallery. With that I build a coverage plan so nothing relies on improvisation.
During the event I work in a reportage style, dressed to match the setting so I blend in. I anticipate moments rather than chase them, take care of the wide shots that show the full room and the branding, and drop into the detail of reactions and conversations. If more controlled portraits of speakers or executives are needed, we set aside a couple of minutes in a corner with flattering light.
For long or large events we can work with a second photographer to cover several rooms at once, and in low-light interiors —ballrooms, warehouses, night marquees— I carry equipment ready so the images keep their quality without turning the event into a studio.
Delivery, rights and pricing
If your comms or press team needs them the same day, we deliver a quick preselection of key images during or right after the event. The full gallery, edited in high resolution, normally arrives within three to seven days depending on volume and the length of coverage.
Images are delivered with a commercial-use licence for the organisation: website, social, press, reports and sponsor communications, with no per-use fee. If there's sensitive data or attendees who don't want to appear, we handle it with judgement.
Events are quoted by hours of coverage, with a minimum based on the type of event and optional extras such as a second photographer, express delivery or video. I send a fixed rate as soon as I know the date, duration and venue.
