The event is charged by the hour, with a minimum that varies by type of event. A launch or a cocktail usually wraps in two or three hours; a congress or a full day needs a half or full day. We agree the exact window in advance —from setup or guest arrival to the close you want documented— and if the event runs long, we extend by additional hours at an agreed rate, with no surprises on the invoice.

Yes, it's part of the job. Many events in Seville happen in hotel ballrooms, industrial warehouses, dimly lit palaces or night marquees at country estates, and I carry gear ready for those conditions: fast lenses and diffused flash when needed, used carefully so it doesn't break the mood. The aim is for the gala dinner or the night party to look like the atmosphere they had, not flattened by direct flash.

Yes, and it's very common when there's live comms or a press release going out that same afternoon. We agree which moments are priority and, during the event or right after it ends, I deliver a preselection of key images already edited so your team can publish them straight away. The full gallery follows later within the usual timeframe, without the day's urgency affecting the quality of the final coverage.

Before the event you send me the sponsor list and the supports where their logos appear —photocall, stage, roll-ups, screens— and I make sure to include clean shots where those brands are well visible and not cropped. I also take care of the moments when sponsors interact with attendees, because those are the images you'll later use to justify their return on investment. If there's a brand hierarchy, we respect it in the coverage.
