A cake smash is pure play: a first birthday where we let the little one demolish the cake with their hands while the camera catches every surprised face, every laugh and every crumb flying. In Mallorca that fun chaos works even better outdoors, with real light and color.

The island lets us set up wherever you fancy: the villa garden, a terrace, or even the sand of a quiet cove. The mild climate almost year-round and the 300-plus sunny days make it easy to organize the party without relying on a closed studio.

Setup, locations and how it unfolds

We set up a simple, colorful scene: balloons, a garland, a fabric backdrop or a pretty corner of your terrace, with the cake as the star. We keep the colors and props in line with your idea, whether pastel, tropical or something more neutral.

The best spots are the villa's garden or terrace, where you have water nearby for the final cleanup and everything at hand. If you want a postcard backdrop, a quiet southeastern cove early in the day adds sand and sea; it's worth arriving early before it fills up in summer.

The session starts with a few clean portraits of the birthday child, moves to the star moment with the cake, where we let them touch, smash and taste at will, and ends with a bath or a dip that also makes great images. All at the pace of play, no rushing.

Timing, duration, delivery and price

A birthday or cake smash session lasts around 1 hour, just enough before the little one tires out. We pick early morning or late afternoon; in summer we avoid midday, because the heat is uncomfortable and the harsh light isn't flattering. Spring and autumn are perfect for the temperature.

From €170, with an edited digital gallery delivered in 5-10 days. If the session is at the villa, no special logistics are needed; if we head to a cove, with a rental car (about €25/day) we reach almost any spot in under 80 minutes. We bring the basic balloons-and-garland set; you bring the cake to your taste.
