How the lookbook is produced
We start with the brief: how many looks, which garments are the leads, where it'll be published (web, printed catalogue, social) and the brand's tone. From there I prepare a run plan — order of looks, locations and light hours — so the day is efficient and we don't waste time improvising with the model already dressed.
On set I prioritise that each garment reads clearly: clean silhouette, visible fabric and drape, faithful colour, stitching detail and accessories well focused. I combine the full shot that shows the whole outfit with detail shots of the key piece. I direct the model in pose and movement so the clothing falls natural and alive, not stiff.
We choose locations that bring coherence: a modernist façade for an elegant line, the Gothic Quarter's lanes for something urban, the sea light of Barceloneta for a summer capsule, or studio with a neutral backdrop when e-commerce demands total cleanliness. We add styling and make-up to the team if the project needs it.
Delivery, usage and price
We deliver the selection with consistent retouching in three to seven days: high-resolution files for catalogue and print, and optimised versions for web, e-commerce and social, cropped to the formats the brand uses. The whole set shares colour, light and tone so the catalogue reads as one unit, not as loose photos.
Usage is defined in writing according to the destination — web, e-commerce, catalogue, social, advertising — with clear territory and duration. For seasonal collections we usually agree a brand style we repeat campaign after campaign, so your lookbook is recognisable at a glance.
The lookbook is quoted per project, based on the number of looks, locations, team and usage rights. I send a fixed proposal before we start, with deliverables and timelines spelled out and no per-photo charge. Tell me the collection and the destination and I'll prepare the plan.
