Event photography — Alicante

It depends on the programme. A product launch or a toast usually needs 2 or 3 hours; a corporate dinner or private celebration calls for 4 to 6; and a congress or an event running from morning to night, a full day. The best approach is to go through the run sheet together —when the important part begins and up to what point you want photos— and size the hours around that. If the event runs over, we extend on the spot and bill additional hours.

Documentary-style and with maximum discretion. We move through the room reading what's about to happen before it does, use lenses that let us capture from some distance and use the venue's light whenever possible so we don't fill the event with flashes. Guests barely notice we're there. Only at agreed moments —team portraits, photocall or a group photo— do we ask for a little cooperation, and always quickly.

Yes, and for corporate events it's very common. We agree an express selection of key images —opening, main speaker, atmosphere, sponsors— which we edit and deliver during the event itself or first thing the next morning, ready for your comms team to publish while the event is still hot. Yes, it's a regular part of our work in Alicante, where many dinners, parties and galas happen at sunset or at night by the port or on terraces. We work with low-light-ready gear and discreet lighting when needed, so the photos keep the warmth and atmosphere of the moment without going dark or harsh with flash. If the terrace overlooks the marina or the lit castle, we use it as a backdrop.
